My hero is my daughter. She had jaundice at birth and was not treated in a timely manner, damaging her brain and developing cerebral palsy. She does not let her body's limitations stop her from meeting life head on and with a joy to boot. It is hard when the limitations of your body stop you from walking, talking or even holding your own head upright. Still, this little bundle of love lights up the lives of any who meets her. She always strives to improve herself. For that , she is my hero.
