Forgotten Crane
This image is an interesting one... My goal was simple, crouching among the tall grasses, as the sun fell down (racing to get some good shots before the light disappears) I waited patiently. Black-crowned night herons flew by again and again...Eagle after eagle circling... Black turn after black turn, bringing back more nesting material to drape across the muskrat dens. The barn swallows kept to their songs and aerial games.....THERE, in the distance! Sandhill crane coming in! *click*
