It is a common winter migratory bird in our Rajarhat wetland,India. For the first time when i saw this him, he sat on a piece of bamboo which is a common one in the outside of the wetland, these pieces are use to make divider in the road. On that day we decided to click the crest open hoopoe. On the next day we went to rajarhat again. We crawled over a hour. Then abruptly he opened his crest, and we had focused on his eye, so this way we got the picture successfully.
