    Shrub between 2 and 4 meters high, its fruits become bright red. it is better to wait for the first frosts before picking the berries: the cold makes the fruit more juicy Nearly ripe fruits make excellent jellies because of their high pectin content tastes similar to cranberry. So we prepare the pimbina in the same way.. The fruits sometimes have bad smell but the odor disappears during cooking or by adding a zest of lemon or orange. Peat bogs and rain forest are the place to watch
