After the mud slide that took out part of the PCH and historic parts of Big Sur, my friend and I still made the most of the beautiful park. There is so much to see, and what took our breath away were the most were the trees. These giants (even though these aren't the oldest in the area!) still find a way to humble you. We must learn from trees: stay grounded, stand tall, reach for the sun and stars, embrace your natural beauty, and endure.
