Every year Qatar hosts a Dhow festival with prizes in various categories. The siege by surrounding nations reduced the participants from some countries this year however it was still a well attended event. A dusk visit gave some unusual mix of natural and artificial lighting. The black and white adds some atmosphere and the old boats and modern towers contrast each other.
