This picture was take at sunrise in Bakhor, the medieval market of Lhasa and depicts a pilgrim in her quest for a spiritual contact with Buddha. I loved how the sun hit her face and the symmetry of the shadow casted on her face as well as the face of the other pilgrim on the background lit by the morning light. The blue background is what ties the picture altogether.
