A girl child often has to bear the burden of taking care of her younger sibling(s) since a very tender age especially in lower socio-economic strata. She plays the role of nurturer, when she needs to be nurtured. Often this is a cause of drop out from schools.This was clicked in Shillong, Meghalaya.
