One would think any animal living on a national wildlife refuge might be a little less wary than an animal not living on a national wildlife refuge, but that is not the case with Texas Longhorns. They are wild in the brushy draws feeding the Rio Grande River, and just as wild at the Wichita National Wildlife Refuge in southwestern Oklahoma. This bull gave me the slip on my first stalk, then saw me off on my second stalk!
