Edit Photo Details Hello my little friend!
Together with my good friend Tom was shooting nesting Common Terns on the shores of Long Island. The chicks were just a few days old. For the most part they were staying close to their parents. But this one very tiny chick got confused and slowly walked outside the protected area. Tom left his 'big gun' camera and lens aside and pulled out his tiny point and shoot camera. Perfect camera for such a close encounter with such a cute tiny subject. Chick got back to his parents ok.
