A folk dance form enacts the mythological tale and battle between the goddess #Kali and the demon Darika. It is beyond me how the artist has so much energy to dance rigorously for so many hours. When I asked him, he replied "It is a form of mental trance that you go into, you only remember the start and the end ceremony, nothing much in the middle. However the body gives way on some instances by the time we finish, so much so that I have to be carried away due to my inability to walk.
