We started this hike early in the morning from the yurt camp where we spend the night. High altitude made this hike so much more difficult. Slippery snow made it very hard to make it all the way over the pass. We did make it and that's when we ran into 2 Russian sherpas. They were almost sprinting with their heavy bags and running shoes. One of them came to us asking for water and then slid down the pass screaming "Yahou". We ran into him a couple of hours later and drank tea with him.
