What started nine years ago as a small grassroots effort has turned into an entire community working together to keep our local creeks and river beautiful and wild. We've hauled out more than 90,000 lbs of just metal alone over those years. Quite an adventure - grubby and tired with a few extra scrapes and bruises by weeks end - creating stewards and ownership of our local waterways. At this moment we'd filled our canoes with rubbish and were trying to safely launch while balancing the load.
