This photo was captured during my anthropological fieldwork at Susunia, Chhatna, Bankura, West Bengal; amongst the Santali community present there. Their main subsistence is through the agriculture of Dhan rice. During the month of Karthik (October - November), the yield is ripe and is ready for reaping. The view of the fields at sunset is stunning. The golden glow during the golden hour gives a feeling of peace in the mind of the observer.
