This photo was taken for the purpose of completing an assignment done online through Red Deer College. The focus of that section of the course was portrait and the goal of this assignment was to do a intimate/close-up portrait. I like how I got my sister to smile in a way that looked natural. I also made good use of the rim effect on the right side of her face (our left).
