Almost 5 inches of fresh snow blanketed the Linville Gorge area so I knew I wanted to head there. The crowds are low due to slick trails and temps in the 30's. I wanted to watch the sunset and I got lucky with the flight paths going right over the Gorge. The sun struck the west side of the mountain and made the plane exhaust glow.
