Taking a walk along a small trail at the end of my street, I came across a tiny Saw-whet owl perched on a branch. Took me by suprise as the most exciting thing I've ever seen there previously was a woodpecker. I had taken my camera in the hope of photographing squirrels in the snow and was so glad I had it with me !
