My son saw this leopard carrying a baby duiker up to the top of a flattened rock structure, hidden by foliage. The top of the rock structure happened to be level with our vehicle descending through a slight valley as we first heard the shrieks of the duiker calling for help. Over the next 15 minutes or so, we carefully positioned the vehicle to allow just enough line of sight into the foliage to get this unique image of the leopard and duiker bound in a seemingly intimate holding pattern.
