A frog I found on my frozen garden pond a week or so ago. It had evidently left the water during an unseasonably warm spot and then fell victim to plummeting temperatures before it could go back. I freed the bit of ice the frog was sitting on and photographed it in the better light of my little studio to show how life-like the unfortunate animal looked !
