Bluebonnets are the state flower of Texas. With sufficient rain in the spring Bluebonnets emerge in profusion turning whole fields blue. This shot was taken in Hill County Village a small municipality encircled by the City of San Antonio. The lanes and streets are less than 5 miles from major routes in the city but feel very rural with two lane roads, large properties and wild deer.
