This was taken within an urban village in Shenzhen. Urban villages were created by original settlers after the government had reclaimed land from them to develop the city. These villages were fully constructed and managed by the village people. Here we can see a couple who run a tailoring shop at the base of a 3 storey condo. This is but one of many varieties of shops found in such areas.
