It was the end of our first day at Yosemite National Park. We had spent a couple hours at Glacier Point taking in the truly breathtaking views of Yosemite Valley. I had taken many photos of Half Dome, the several visible waterfalls and other iconic landmarks in the valley, and we decided to head back a little early, before sunset. This was almost a mistake. As we reached the parking lot I turned around and saw THIS. When we left just minutes before Half Dome had been beautiful but gray.
