    Reported by:

One of our traditions on Christmas Day is to make a trip to watch the bald eagles feeding on the kokanee spawn in Lake Coeur d' Alene. This year it was 10 degrees Fahrenheit and in a snowstorm! However, we were properly dressed to spend hours watching these magnificent creatures swoop across the lake and bring their sushi dinners back to the trees to eat. Wildlife officials have counted over 300 eagles at the lake. Had to dump snow out of my lens hood frequently.
