Walking regularly in the local dog park with my dog has featured several times in my "your shot" uploads this year. I wanted to capture something that is not often seen. Every time I throw a pinecone into the river, he chases after it. Every time he returns to the river bank, he shakes off probably 90% of the water only to chase another pinecone into the water seconds later. He starts shaking his head and slowly works down to his tail. Water is flung several feet into the air.
