There's an elm tree on the river bank of the Tokachigawa River in Toyokoro, Hokkaido. The symmetrical shape of its leaves has attracted many visitors throughout the year. Toyokoro is where I was born and raised. My father photographed the tree for 10 years and so have I, for seven years now. I don't have a family home there any more, so I feel like the tree is my home.
