Located in the arctic region of far Northern Norway, Sørøya is Norway's fourth largest island, as well as the largest island with no road connection to the mainland, (excluding archipelago of Svalbard). Although it doesn't host iconic glaciated peaks and dramatic fjords similar to that of the Sogne, Hardanger, Geiranger and Lyngenalp regions, Sørøya is often regarded as one of Norway's most beautiful islands.
