Edit Photo Details Debris after a Storm   #rubbish #planetorplastic
I went down to the beach at West Bay after a fierce storm. The sun was shining and the scene should have been pretty but I was stunned at the quantities of plastic junk that had been washed up in just one small space. It made me realise the enormity of the problem and I have turned against single-use plastics. We have extensive recycling facilities here in the UK but the process is not transparent and a report published today suggests some of our 'recycling' is dumped overseas.
