This beautiful instrument is part of the Canary Wharf Arts initiative. It's, surprisingly, in tune and sounds great. The black wall behind the piano framed this shot nicely, so I took a chance. It came out okay. There's a sense of loneliness that I feel when I look at this picture. It's a perfectly working instrument with semi withered flowers arranged on top, but no one wants to dare play it. Aren't we all merely longing to be recognised, explored and appreciated for what we hold inside?
