Two Sides
A rainy afternoon outside Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I was fasting in solidarity with my friend and the Ethiopian Orthodoxy for the celebration of Ashendiye the following week. However, I broke my fast in order to share some sugar cane stalks with a group of boys who kept running over to me with curiosity as I photographed the surroundings. Eventually the rain picked up, and we said our goodbyes. As we were about to drive off, this was my view from the passenger window. One last snapshot.
