Having struggled through the crowds the night before, early morning on the Bund, Shanghai was a pleasurable experience with so few people out. Lying on the ground to take some shots of silhouettes, I became the subject of several Chinese photographers' shots - to the extent one asked me to lie back down so he could get his shot! This amused me no end and I happily obliged. I hit it lucky with the sunburst, but I like to think it reflects the energy of the runner.

Excellent work with your patience here, Lynn. You timed this photo just right waiting for the runner to get right near the early morning sunrise. Great work thinking to lay out on the ground to capture this interesting perspective.
