The old tree in the marina weathers a bitter cold front as a full moon rises in the distance. This old, tortured tree has become a subject that I revisit often. It's like an old friend that always welcomes a visit. on this evening, the sun had just kissed the horizon, so the rising yellow moon was, for just a few minutes, the only light in the sky.
