    Edit Photo Details We all need a safe place to rest...   #sculpture #hummingbird #vermont #safety #at_rest #quiet_moment
This lovely hummingbird is a friend of sorts--he likes to buzz my head when I exit the house and enter his world. I live on 35 acres in a remote area of Vermont, and often wonder if I am creating new habitats as I plant nectar rich flowers that probably never graced the soil up here. Rest up, dear hummingbird and I'll keep planting for you.
