Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved cicadas. I would always collect their exoskeletons which were left latched on to vaious plants, especially pine tree trunks. A few years ago, however, I finally saw one molt! A gorgeous creature which at first a bright lime-green color. I watched it slowly get accustomed to it's new way of life.
