On a study abroad with the University of Georgia to Hawaii we spent a day visiting the Mauna Kea Observatory. On the way up the dormant volcano our bus broke down a mile from the visitor center. We had to make the rest of the way on foot at 9,000ft. Slowly but surly we all made the journey arriving at the visitor center just in time for sunset. We walked up the side of a near by hill to watch the sun dip below the clouds. Luckily I had my dslr with me and was able to bring the moment with me.
