Summer Solstice Sunrise
We have a pretty big spread between where the sun rises in June to where it rises in December. One can almost see the difference each day. Here the summer solstice sunrise is as far north (left) as it gets and in December it's about 2 1/2 times or so the distance from where it is now to the end of the picture on the right in a southerly (right) direction. They're beautiful here with the majority coming up over open water, even more beautiful when there's cloud to add more colour!
