Laneway Land
I volunteer with a cat rescue in Toronto, which means I feed, monitor and trap (for spay/neuter purposes) feral cat colonies in the city. Many of them live behind restaurants/garages/houses in the laneways that run between the backs of buildings in Toronto's downtown core. I feel rather lucky that I get to explore this part of the city, hidden to many, which can be most lovely.
