It was most definitely this early trip to Morocco when I was all but 18 years old. I planned to stay in Europe only for the summer, however, I had been reading James Michener's "The Drifters" and a couple of the characters head-on into Morocco...I remember so well their descriptions, how foreign it was to them - I just had to go. It did not disappoint... A wonderful experience it was, It really gave me the travel bug! Now, almost forty years later, I would give anything to return -!!
