Juvenile hippos play in the early morning in Serengeti. Taken on the National Geographic Africa By Private Jet trip, 2017. Going to Africa has changed my life. This was my 7th trip. Each trip brings new photo opportunities, new cultural interactions, and new experiences. Africa has grown to be one of my all-time favorite places.

What a great action shot, Elissa. I love the movement of the water, the detail in the hippos, and the composition here. Wonderful.
