    Edit Photo Details The Sarr Sisters Relaxing   #africa #sisters #family #albino #gambia #albinism
This is a photo of the Sarr sisters, a group of siblings I used to teach English to when I was living in The Gambia. Three out of the five girls in the family had been born with albinism. There are a lot of barriers for people living with albinism in the country, such as a lack of access to affordable sunscreen and prescription eye wear. So these girls were taught by their mother to work hard in school. They are all at the top of their classes.
