Last to last week I went to a wetland on the outskirts of my city & found this Kingfisher sitting on a twig. This species of the Kingfisher is very common in this part of the country. I couldn't resist clicking as it was very close and was not even afraid when I tried to get really close with my car. The light was good; the only regret I couldn't get the twig coming across the beak.
