The buildings block the wind chill on a bitter cold morning in January on a walk to the Theater District in New York City. We're travelers seeking tickets for an evening show. Through the lens, the the street, the traffic and pedestrians are all cut off an unfinished sentence, flattened in perspective, subtle in color under a grey sky. Nothing remarkable to the passerby, until the digital billboard blinks. . . an eye wide open, looking upward and out.
