Silent Night
New Year Day is the most important holiday in Japan. People visit shrines to pray and make resolutions. Most of the big shrines get crowded, with people waiting in line for hours, but this lonely little mountain shrine is all quiet. Perfect for a solemn moment of contemplation and resolution.
