Phone grab photo is by Benjamin Larsen (our son) during a snow shoeing outing at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State, one of this country's most special National Parks."Lenticular clouds are stationary clouds that form in the troposphere, typically in perpendicular alignment to the wind direction. They are often comparable in appearance to a lens or saucer," according to Wikipedia. Or, perhaps, a "Flying Saucer"?
