I took this Dec. 23, 2017, I had been held up shopping for Christmas the previous two weeks and was aching to get out. The Roan Highlands are my backdoor so I took off to get away. I had never shot this scene before even though I had been here a 100 times before, it never felt right. However, it all came together for me and something different this time. I really liked the winter feel I was getting and the cool tones.
