On our three-month road trip we encountered people from all around the world who were as mesmerized as we were with our National Park system. That others have chosen to preserve our national treasures is a gift to the world. When I found this pinecone with the someone's photo of the massive trees I was just admiring, I wondered whether the photographer was as captivated with the Sequoias as I was.
