In July of 2015, I was a 25 year old teacher who had just left the profession, sold my house and was embarking on a 6 month road trip from Connecticut to Alaska and back again. This trip changed so much about my life that it is impossible to begin to describe. The people I met, the places I saw, the impact it had to lead me to Australia, Japan and many other places in the years following. This moose was walking alone along Grayling Lake in Alaska and this moment is something I will never forget.
