Saint Agata
On February 4th in Catania-Sicily, begin the celebrations for Santa Agata, involving all the citizens who in a participatory and solidarity procession carry the relics of the Saint through the streets of the city.
The chariot is pushed by hand by the human chain of the faithful persons, a white tide of devotees of all ages wearing a white habit, a black hat, a rope tightened to the waist, gloves, a handkerchief and a rosette on the heart.
