Edit Photo Details Running through the Sahara desert   #desert #morocco #travel #adventure #sahara
In 2014 I travelled to the fringes of the Sahara to take part in a week long running race that completely changed my career & belief of what was achievable. The race took us from rocky desert plain to seas of dunes, dried lake beds with camels wading through waves of heat and jaw dropping gorges. I had no previous experience of desert life but sleeping beneath the stars each night I was converted by the simplicity and peace I found.Documenting the experience on 35mm opened many doors for me.

Wow what an experience. I love how the helicopter is hovering above, my eye follows the line of participants disappearing into the horizon. This feels epic. Thanks for sharing the story behind the photo in your caption, you are helping me understand why this trip changed your life. Well done James.
