BANDED WATER SNAKE
Often confused with the poisonous Cottonmouth/Water Moccasin (Agkistrodon piscivorous) because of several common features, the Banded Water Snake is non-poisonous. It is both Diurnal (comes out during the day) and Nocturnal (comes out at night)
Here is was hunting for the newborn Tilapia and Bream/Bluegill fishes in the shallow waters of a pond under the bright midday sun.
