The Joy of Unplanned Discoveries
This moment changed the way I travel. Talking to the locals and asking them what to see has opened up beautiful moments I would have missed. While walking along the Thames, a local suggested we hike to the village of Hambledon. Not knowing we could walk through the fields, we followed a narrow lane, up to a wooded hillside, getting lost, and finding a trail passing open fields of bluebells and then finding our village with the bench, inviting us to sit and enjoy new discoveries.
